1872 Heritage Railway Trails
Featured Jarrahdale Walks, the 1872 Heritage Railway Trails are a 4km loop commencing at Jubb Road and an 8km return trail starting form Info Bay, cnr Nettleton & Jarrahdale Roads. The trails feature old railway sleepers, historic trail markers, vistas and picnic spots.
Description
Wildflowers, shy inhabitants and views to the coast reward trekkers on these delightful heritage trails. Black butt trees and large tree ferns encircle Gingagup Brook (stop for a paddle or a picnic here) and during spring / summer purple scaevola and white milkmaids make a showing.
The Jarrahdale Heritage Railway Trails were developed by the Jararhdale Heritage Society in 1988 as a Bicentennial Project with assistance from the Shire of Serpentine/Jarrahdale.
