1. Experience the thrill in Dwellingup: Action, water, speed, endless fun – that’s what you get when you go white water rafting in the rapids of the Murray River in Dwellingup, a beautiful forest town in Western Australia, just 1 hour 15 minutes from Perth. 2. Food and Wine adventure at Millbrook Winery: You don’t need to drive far from Perth to enjoy excellent food and wine. Millbrook is a boutique winery situated in the historic town of Jarrahdale in the Peel Region of WA, just 50 minutes south-east of Perth. The winery is located at picturesque Chestnut Farm nestled among virgin jarrah forests, with stunning vistas of the rolling landscape plus you can enjoy delicious food from the acclaimed Millbrook restaurant. It is located on the second level of the winery and features a high timber ceiling, blackbutt floor and glass bi-folding doors which open onto a jarrah deck with spectacular views of the vineyard and Serpentine National Park. 3. WA’s best kept secret: Lake Navarino. This lake (also called Waroona Dam) is an aquatic playground and, when full, the surface area covers 145 hectares of which approximately 100 hectares (220 acres) of water is available for water skiing. The balance is for passive recreation such as canoeing, sailing, fishing and swimming. It is also a great spot for fishing. Waroona is a small, RV-friendly town in the Peel Region, located just 45 minutes from Perth Western Australia along the South Western Highway, between Pinjarra and Harvey.
