For an indulgent weekend of wine tasting in the Peel Region, just head south of Perth to Mandurah and Ravenswood. The Peel Wine Region covers a large area, extending along the coast south of Perth to Preston Beach and Waroona. It also includes the areas inland from Mandurah and Rockingham. The region is just perfect as a day trip destination, for a weekend away or for tourists wanting to tour the wineries in the area.

The emerging Peel Wine Region grows over 200 hectares of wine grapes. The Peel climate and conditions create a distinct character that has seen this wine (and beer) region bring home many awards. Head out and explore, put some to the taste test and discover your new favourite Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon or Ale.

Raven Wines Pinjarra is a boutique winery in the Peel Wine Region known for handcrafting a range of both red and white wines using premium handpicked fruit sourced from the local wine region.

There are also some great wineries close to Serpentine-Jarrahdale.

The Peel Region’s reputation for fine wines is mostly built on Chardonnay, Semillon, Chenin Blanc, Verdelho, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
