The Mandurah Train Line runs right through Perth from all the way up in the city to all the way down to Mandurah. With a frequent train timetable, it’s never been so easy to escape on a holiday!
Plus – tickets are cheap as chips! Varying from $5.10 for a 2 Zone fare, to the Family Rider package $10.30, these prices certainly beat the cost of petrol for a car trip!
Jump on the Mandurah shuttle bus when you arrive at the train station to quickly get to your accommodation and settle in. Your train ticket will get you on a bus trip for free too, what a bonus!
Rather trip down by car? Easy as. Less than an hour’s drive from Perth, you’ll be in Mandurah in no time. There are many ways to travel down to Mandurah!

Disc Golf
Challenge the kids to a game of Disc Golf! Located on the Western Foreshore, Disc Golf is played with similar rules to traditional golf with the aim to complete the course in the least number of throws. Discs and scorecards can be borrowed from the Mandurah Visitor Centre.

A holiday wouldn’t be complete without great photos to post on the Gram! Lucky for you, Mandurah is home to plenty of stunning spots that will make your feed look schmicko. From the beautiful lights of the Mandurah Bridge at night, the serene Creery Wetlands, the breathtaking backdrop of Stingray point and many more! Scoop crabbing along the estuary (in season)
There’s plenty of crabs in the sea here at Mandurah! Simply take a scoop net down to the estuary and fill your net with meaty crabs at one of the many hotspots in Mandurah. Renowned for blue swimmer crabs, cook them up on the BBQ and enjoy fresh seafood all weekend long.

The Giants of Mandurah is a free outdoor exhibition celebrating the extraordinary beauty and importance of protecting our natural world, including Mandurah’s globally significant Ramsar-listed wetlands, unique waterways, bushland and wildlife.
Begin at Mandurah’s Visitor Centre and choose your own adventure on your journey to discovering each hidden Giant. Collect clues along the way to reveal the location of the final Giant, but shhhhh… don’t tell anybody else.
Dolphin spotting
Mandurah is spoiled with plenty of great locations to spot dolphins playing in the estuary and ocean. The beautiful Venetian style canals beside the Mandurah Ocean Marina or the Dawesville Channel Walks both offer a stunning walk as you watch dolphins swim past. Or book yourself a dolphin cruise to guarantee dolphin sighting.
Creery Wetlands Reserve Trail
Take a walk on the 3km loop that circles the 29-hectare Creery Wetlands Reserve. Take your binoculars for bird watching (the wetlands are home to 22 species of migratory shorebirds!) and spotting other native wildlife and enjoy the fascinating wonderland hidden in the wetlands.

Rain, hail or shine – a beach trip is always on the menu in Mandurah. We recommend popping by one of the many beautiful beaches across the Peel region from Falcon Bay in Falcon, Town Beach in Dolphin Quay, Pyramids Beach in Dawesville, Lido Beach in Dolphin Quay, Blue Bay in Halls Head, Doddies Beach in Halls Head, Village Beach in Wannanup, Silversands Beach in Silversands, Madora Bay Beach in Madora Bay and Seascapes Beach in Halls Head.
