Presenting Artists from Ext 12 Textile and Fibre group.
Using a variety of techniques including hand dyed fabrics, silks, natural fibres, machine and hand embroidery artists have created visually stunning designs, inspired by the natural environment, surrounding our South-West.
Threads are like the longitude/latitude lines on maps, cobwebs, roads, rivers and the famous Hotham Valley train track, form lines winding decorative passages into the forest, marking a decorative way through the land.
